A need for Nature and Conservation Speakers in the Rio Grande Valley is apparent as we to need different monthly speakers. This is our start and invite others to join the list by contacting RGDA. The page organization may change if the list grows to insure a front page position for all.

Joe Krause has been in education all his life. He has been retired for seventeen years. He is originally from Minnesota but has been in Brownsville for thirty years.

Talks last one hour with about 15 minutes for Q and A.

Lee does guiding and photography trips around South Texas and NE Mexico specially the Northern most cloud forest, Biosphere of El Cielo, of North America. Canon equipment is almost exclusively used. Google has many of Lee’s photos ranked high on the first page by specie.

He is a founder of Rio Grande Delta Audubon and it’s first President. Lee founded and ran the Brownsville Birding Festival for four years. His most notable birder to guide was President Jimmy Carter and his wife Rosalynn. He does two web sites: www.riorvpark.com and www.riograndedeltaaudubon.org, with major nature pages.
