Dolphins and the Sea Life Center
By Scarlot and George Colley

Scarlet and George Colley will give both young and old a vision of South Padre Island.

They are long time South Padre Island native life experts. Their experiences from fishing, to dolphin watches, to overall sea life, and then to keeping track of South Padre Island native and migrating bird habitat give them the ability to present some interesting points. Their willingness to share this information with us is great.

Scarlet and George started and are running the 'Fins to Feathers Cruises' and the "Sea Life Center".

Migration Fallout - Results
Sabal Palm, SPI 3+ locations,
Laguna Atascosa, Boca Chica

South Padre Island (SPI) is probably the best known, but the other locations are extra good during Fallout. First, find a day or time the winds are out of the Northeast at 12 MPH or higher to blow the migrating birds from their flight over the Gulf of Mexico to land. Fallout on a sunny day gives excellent light for morning photos. Two of the best spots on SPI are the Convention Center and Sheepshead.
The pictures here are from SPI Convention Center including a local Grackle.
I spent hundreds of dollars for gas on the Yellow-headed Blackbird in Canada only to find it in my back yard.
