The Rio Grande Delta Audubon Chapter meets at 6:30 p.m. on the the first Monday of each month at the Historic Brownsville Museum, 7th and East Madison.

The picture in the upper left of this E-Newsletter is of the first two hatched in this nest. Two more hatched after these first two did on March 28,2009. This picture to the left was taken this Thursday morning April 30, 2009 with the two adults circling.

Meet at Rio RV Park, 8801 Boca Chica (See locator map) before 7:30AM to leave in cars by 7:30AM. We will park on a dirt road to allow traffiic on the main dirt road. This is the Massey Road with a large Yellow Ball at the entrance on Boca Chica (Tx4). The nest is in the open yet you have a hard time seeing it.
