The 109th Christmas Bird Count (CBC)
Sunday, December 14, 2008 to Monday, January 5, 2009

Thanks to Martin Hagne for all the information on the CBC. His efforts in helping build a new CBC team in Brownsville is appreciated.

Join Audubon's citizen science team to tell the world birds are needed. You don't need to be an expert birder to be on the CBC team.

Jimmy Paz of Audubon Sabal Palm has agreed to pull together a team of birders for the count. We will be meeting at Rio RV Park Tuesday 7AM December 30, 2008. It is at 8801 Boca Chica Blvd, Brownsville, Texas and marked on the locator map.

We will meet for assignment to locations and pickup a packet on their assigned location. Birders can request a location prior to the 30th with Lee Zieger, 266-8801 or riorvpark@aol.com. A list of locations will be announced via e-mail shortly.

See the Audubon CBC web page http://www.audubon.org/Bird/cbc/
