The Rio Grande Delta Audubon Chapter will hold their monthly meeting
on Monday, November 6, 2006, 6:30 p.m. at the Historic Brownsville Museum.
Our guest speakers this month are Ms. Kay Lay & Mr. Steve Hascock,
owners of the Beachcomber Museum at South Padre Island.
Admission: Free
The topic of the talk is: "The South Padre Island Sea Beans."

Ms. Lay authored the book "Pass the Beans" She will talk about
the interesting topic of the seed pods that float up from Central,
South America, and other parts of the world washing ashore on the
beaches of South Padre Island. Ms Lay will tell us how to germinate
these seeds and show us some of the interesting plants the she has grown.
