Event:
The Rio Grande Delta Audubon Chapter will hold their monthly meeting on Monday, November 5, 2007, 6:30 p.m. at the Historic Brownsville Museum at 7th and Madison Streets in Brownsville, Texas. A locator map is on this web site.
Our speaker below will cover conservation efforts for Sea Turtles.

Jimmy Paz, MGR Sable Palm, talk on Coastal Birds tracking records.

Jimmy will have a power point on what is being done in Texas's middle and upper coast. The program will show how it is done and how it can help conservation efforts of our area too.
Rio Grande Delta Audubon can participate in the effort for possible other counts above the Colonial Bird count now done.

Speakers Bureau
Conservation and Nature

An idea for the meeting is to offer a Speakers Bureau sponsored by Rio Grande Delta Audubon. We have a number of members making presentations already. Jimmy Paz, Lee Zieger, Dorothy Greany, Joe Krause, Judy Walton, plus hopefully more.

Rain out Day October 27, 2007

Many thanks to Laura and Alan Duval, Louise Davidson, Lee Zieger, and Sherman Lee for working to get the wieners cooked, stuffed in buns and bag, and serving the wary planters as they finished the morning work. Sherman did the cooking. He kept up with six cookers. Fish and Wildlife Service manned one stuffing table and did a great job too.
